Mrs. Remington grew up in Rantoul, Illinois and graduated from Rantoul High School in 1982. She attended Illinois State University and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Language Arts. After graduation Mrs. Remington taught in Bradley, Il and Rantoul, Il for 12 ½ years before joining the faculty at Fisher Grade School in 1998 as 5th Grade Teacher.
In 2006 Mrs. Remington received her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois. She has taught students in grades 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8. This is her 16th year teaching at Fisher Grade School.
Mrs. Remington lives in Rantoul with her husband, Brian and her son, Brendan and their two dogs, Maddie and Ozzie. She enjoys sports and especially cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals!
